Sky Blue Penthouse

Located on the beachfront esplanade at Kingscliff, this new-build penthouse apartment oozes both style and personality.

With a love of colour and surprise elements as well as and eco-friendly materials, the owners appointed Studio Yugen to design the interiors using unexpected materials and colours to create subtle luxury and a space that would contrast dramatically with their existing residence, a cosy farmhouse.

The ocean views, visible through an abundance of native Australian trees from the penthouse balcony, provided the inspiration for the interior palette. Studio Yugen gave the traditional interpretation of coastal an inspiring twist, offering something subtle yet bold which offers many surprises throughout the three-bedroom, three-bathroom retreat.

This striking beachside space exhibits smooth joinery and robust materials, with Studio Yugen choosing to embrace local Australian craftsmanship throughout.

Three Balls Red was thrilled to supply floor tiles, terrazzo and the bathroom vanity for the Sky Blue Penthouse project.
