Step inside a home that is not defined by current trends, but by character, confidence, and individuality. Rich with layered influences, Project Del Mar is a bold and expressive villa where deep timbers, vibrant colours, handcrafted finishes and Spanish-inspired details combine to create a home unlike any other.

Nestled in the heart of the Gold Coast, Project Del Mar serves as a sanctuary for owner Andrew — a place designed for retreat, relaxation and connection. From the moment you enter, there is an unmistakable sense of warmth and personality. Rather than following design conventions, this home confidently charts its own course, embracing colour, texture and craftsmanship at every opportunity.

Brought to life by the talented team at 4D Renovations, with interiors carefully curated by their in-house designer's Casey & Nicky, the project is a testament to thoughtful design and exceptional execution. Every detail has been meticulously considered, resulting in a residence that feels cohesive yet full of discovery, balancing bold design decisions with timeless liveability.
At the heart of the home sits the kitchen — a space that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Del Mar. Custom handcrafted tiles introduce striking blue accents throughout, bringing a sense of Mediterranean charm and artistry to the room. Rich timber cabinetry grounds the palette, while luxurious Calacatta marble adds elegance and refinement. Suspended above, our bespoke pendants create a sculptural focal point, drawing the eye and reinforcing the home's commitment to custom design and craftsmanship.

Throughout the residence, tiles play a starring role. Far more than a functional surface, they become a design feature in their own right, creating moments of texture, pattern and visual intrigue. A carefully considered mix of tones underfoot forms a relaxed checkerboard-inspired floor pattern, delivering a playful yet sophisticated foundation that flows effortlessly throughout the home.
The material palette is rich and expressive, with deep burgundy tones introducing warmth and drama, while bronze accents add a subtle sense of luxury. Together, these elements create a home that feels collected, curated and deeply personal. Drawing inspiration from Spanish design, handcrafted details, artisanal finishes and carefully considered materials are woven throughout, bringing a timeless sense of character, authenticity and charm to every space.

Spanish influences can be felt throughout, not through overt gestures, but through the careful layering of colour, texture and handcrafted details that evoke a sense of place and history.

What makes Project Del Mar truly memorable, however, is its fearless embrace of texture and pattern. Herringbone timber flooring, VJ panelling, bold wallpapers and vibrant colour blocking work together to create a home full of personality and surprise. Every room reveals a new detail, inviting you to pause, explore and appreciate the thought behind each design decision.

In a world increasingly driven by trends, Project Del Mar stands apart. It is a celebration of individuality, craftsmanship and creativity — a home that reflects the people who live within it and proves that the most successful interiors are those that tell an authentic story. Bold, welcoming and unapologetically unique, Project Del Mar is a home designed to be experienced, remembered and enjoyed for years to come.
