In celebration of Love Month, we asked team Three Balls Red to share their tips for inviting romance into their abodes, and what they are currently lusting over in the design space.

How do you invite romance into a space?

For me, a romantic space is a relaxed one; it's much more of a mood than an aesthetic.I would say chilled music like Al Green, Marvin Gaye or Air, some beautiful incense or candles burning and a really delicious pinot noir

From your favourite Champagne or vino to art pieces and covetable classics, what are you currently lusting over?

A bottle of Pol Roger, a painting by Adelaide artist Morgan Allender and an Ukuba Haruki Linen Lantern.

A song on your Love Day/V Day playlist?

Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles, Do You Realise by The Flaming Lips, Something by The Beatles, and Let's Stay Together by Al Green.

Your go-to date night restaurant, and what do you order?

It would have to be my favourite restaurant, 1889 Enoteca – the pork and fennel sausage gnocchi is out of this world.

How do you invite romance into a space?

I love a romantic outdoor setting. Picture a blanket covered with way too many pillows of various sizes, colours and textures. I also love to keep it a bit old school with candles and a small centrepiece of flowers. Add a delicious platter, a bottle of bubbles to share and my UE boom set to a perfect playlist.

From your favourite Champagne or vino to art pieces and covetable classics, what are you currently lusting over?

My favourite bubbles, Ruinart Blanc de Blancs. I am also crushing on artist Jacob Pedrana – so fun and I love the bold colours. I also currently have a broken foot and I am dreaming of once again wearing shoes on both feet [laughs]. I can’t stop looking at cowgirl boots. Bit of a theme here….

Orzo at Broadbeach blew us away recently with their tasting menu. Trust me, let the chefs do their work and enjoy the ride, every dish is incredible.

In terms of styling, don’t be afraid to layer with textured pieces like throws, cushions and rugs, which help create warmth and ambience. A beautiful scent – like incense or candles – also helps welcome a romantic atmosphere.

From your favourite Champagne or vino to art pieces and covetable classics, what are you currently lusting over?

Striped linen sheets are top of my wish list this year. A Brown Brothers Moscato always works a treat, too.

I love Japanese food so Etsu or Itoshin would be my number one spots. I love tasting menus where you get to experience a bit of everything.
