Meticulously built by TBR’s client Chris Hawes of Hawes Construction with interior design by talented Jess Borgeaud of Borgeaud Interiors, Merse is the brainchild of Nathan James, Grace Donnelly and TJ Groot, the team behind Fitness Cartel Health Clubs.

A haven for health enthusiasts and aesthetes alike, Borgeaud tells Three Balls Red the interior inspiration for Merse was Mediterranean-meets-Palm Springs-meets-the sub-tropical/urban style of Brisbane’s iconic The Calile Hotel.

With a soft palette of washed out neutrals, the calming wellness sanctuary boasts traditional saunas as well as body contouring and magnesium-infused floatation and cold plunge pools, hot pools and various therapies.

Three Balls Red was thrilled to have supplied all of the tiles for the project, including a custom-logo floor slab crafted from natural stone, 100 x 100 blush gloss feature tiles, travertine crazy pave and mother of pearl mosaics.
