A harmonious blend of Mediterranean and coastal luxe design, Project Sundown is the latest custom residential build by Three Balls Red's talented clients, 4D Renovations.
An elevated twist on relaxed coastal living, this sophisticated four-bedroom, two bathroom residence is nestled in a serene pocked of Paradise Point on the northern Gold Coast. Flawless design details, craftsmanship and quality finishes aside, Sundown is designed to be truly enjoyed and lived in, with a functional layout and ample spaces for relaxation and entertaining family and friends. Led by director Jamie Paterson, the 4D Renovations team, including team members well-versed in architectural and design principles, managed all of the design phase and plans in-house.

Among the standout architectural features of Project Sundown are the 16m lap pool, sophisticated joinery with secret doors that add an element of intrigue to the design, and the expansive open-plan entertaining areas, ideal for the Gold Coast’s sub-tropical climate and year-round sunshine.
The pool area was meticulously landscaped by 4D, with an array of tropical plants creating a resort-style oasis around the pool.

Paterson tells TBR Project Sundown stands out among 4D projects due to the unique creative freedom they enjoyed. “As it was our own project, we had full control over every detail, allowing us to fully express our design vision,” says Paterson.
“This contrasts with projects for clients, where we work collaboratively to translate their dreams into reality. “Both experiences have their merits and challenges, but the personal connection to Project Sundown made it an exceptionally rewarding venture."

The Three Balls Red team was thrilled to be involved in this inspiring project and supplied all tiles for Sundown including the limestone-look Et Bianco in the bathrooms and laundry and the Travertine flute feature tiles.
