Designed and built to suit a tight, canal-front block in an enviable pocket of Palm Beach on the southern Gold Coast, Parnki Residence is a contemporary dream home for a young professional couple.

Burleigh-based architecture firm, Habitat Studio Architects, were enlisted to design the four-bedroom home, which was to be tailored to suit the clients’ modern lifestyle.
Our clients, Wave Developments, were responsible for the meticulous custom build.

Habitat Studio Architect’s Wayne Greenland says the front powdercoat batten screen was designed to add privacy to the street front from the front bedroom, allowing filtered light and breeze, whilst adding visual interest to the street facade.

“The building form opens to the waterfront as you move through the compressed site entry,” says Wayne. “The stepping nature of the form allows northern light and predominant North Easterly cooling breezes to penetrate, breaking down the mass.

”Materials were selected to suit the sub-tropical coastal climate, and natural textures and a neutral colour palette were used internally for timeless, enduring appeal.

Dramatic black tapware by Australian-made, sustainable brand Sussex, bold Terrazzo tiles and pops of colour add playful points of interest.

Three Balls Red were thrilled to supply tiles for most rooms including Corsia Toscana Honed Terrazzo tiles [600x600x20], Travertine white matt tiles [600x600] and the Pietra Lombarda off white tiles [600x600].

Congratulations to all involved in this beautiful project, and we hope the clients enjoy their home for years to come.
