The tiles come as full 600 x 600 tiles, ready to crack and create!

You can order one of our sample packs to receive a small square sample of each tile that comes in the Peppa Hart Crazy Pave collection.

A mallet works well, or a metal tool. Sharp edges of the tiles can be sanded back using 120-grit wet-and-dry abrasive paper.

Smashed tiles can be incredibly sharp, it is essential to use gloves, goggles and enclosed shoes (unlike Michael in our hints video!) Be sure to keep children and pets away and always be careful when handling cut tiles.

For best results, yes. An uneven surface can cause the tiles to not adhere properly, and they could pop off and crack. Floor levelling products can be purchased from hardware stores.

This is your time to get creative! There is no right or wrong way to lay out your tiles, but we recommend having a mix of large, medium and small pieces for a natural look like Sophie and Michael have achieved. Place the larger pieces down in each section and then place smaller pieces around. We highly recommend doing a 'dry run' of your design for each section of glue you're laying down so you can work quickly. Remember to keep your spaces no bigger than 50mm to avoid cracking.

Speak to your local hardware store about the best glue for your area. Spread the adhesive using a square notch trowel to a thickness of 6mm.

We recommend the Ardex WJ50 grout which works well for the larger spaces you get with crazy pave.

A minimum of 24 hours, though 48 - 72 hours is preferable to ensure the tiles have cured.

While some pieces will be fine once the grout is applied, we recommend using a 120-grit wet-and-dry abrasive paper or polishing pad on the broken tile edges to smooth off any sharpness and to ensure the flooring is comfortable under foot. Also ensuring the grout is not shallow around the tiles will also help with this.
